Does anyone fancy playing Order of the Phoenix-era Sirius Black as a spy for the Order against my Theodore Nott?
The line would take place over one summer holiday (and possibly beyond if you can stand me for that long) with Sirius, initially in his dog form, sent to spy on the Nott household, ending up befriending Theo and from there things would progress between them until it ends up as a cross-gen slash pairing - be aware if you don't like age gaps!
Sirius doesn't have to die either and we can set it a little further in the future if you prefer, I'm not fussed as long as he's around and it's still during Hogwarts for Theo due to the need for spying.
PB is completely up to you, threads can be played over email or in journals - not through AIM, I'm so sorry

Hallo everyone!
I'm dying to play Theodore Nott in almost any (slash-only) incarnation, including unlikely-pairings and AUs.
I'm open about your PBs and I'm happy to take on board any ideas you have. I'm also happy to fit him into any lines that you might have lying around. I don't RP through instant messaging by any other format is game and I'm a fair to very active player.

HOLA! ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) crossfire is a brand spankin' new AU Marauders Era RPG. It's centered around the idea of Dumbledore not defeating Grindelwald in 1945. This leads to most of Europe adopting his ideology and putting pressure on England to conform. BUT THAT'S NOT WHY IT'S COOL. It's cool because the Order and "Death Eaters" (called the Knights of Walpurgis and not under Voldemort's control) are formed organically in response to this after the game starts and fighting Grindelwald not only in England but throughout Europe as well. Come on. Hostile takeovers, wizarding world war, secret societies, wizarding nations under oppressive regimes, world building for wizarding cultures, narrow escapes, magic, break ins, and more? Who doesn't want to play that shit. There's a premise here and the holds list is up here. We'd especially love to see Edgar Bones, Minerva McGonagall, Alastor Moody, Fabian Prewett, Severus Snape, Evan Rosier, Nott, Avery Sr & Jr, Mucliber Sr. & Jr.! Starts May 11th! |

Confundo (via confundomod) is a Marauders Era game set in 1978, their last year of school, and we desperately need a Severus Snape! He would have plot from a wonderful Lily Evans, Marauders to torment, and friends (such that they are) in Slytherin as well!

This adorable guy is one Frank Longbottom. Frank is the perfect gentleman. Of course, he was raised by Augusta Longbottom, so she kept him in line from a young age- but, really, Frank likes being chivalrous. True gentlemen are a dying breed, and he's proud to uphold the tradition.
But right now, Frank just really misses his Alice. You know, the Future-Mrs-Longbottom? Future super-BAMF-Auror and future mother-of-BAMF-Neville? That Alice. Of course, they're just students right now (Frank is a 7th year Hufflepuff), but it's all got to start somewhere, right?

Hello, I'm the mod, coming at you from Au Contraire (via contrarymods. We're a new AU game set in the year 2000, and we begin gameplay on October 1st. In this contrary world, Peter Pettigrew decided to find his master after framing Sirius instead of living life as a pet rat. With Pettigrew's help, Voldemort returned to England just a few years later. He reorganized his minions into the Knights of Walpurgis, and spend the next two decades slowly building the country into a muggle-hating, classist, and completely self-destructive an unsustainable society. The economy is in ruins, muggleborns are segregated from society, and the Ministry keeps its people from turning on it by keeping them in constant fear that the muggles are 'just about' to discover them and take over.
With all that in mind, we have a few people we'd really love to see before we open.
Hermione Granger: We have a Ron, and Harry's on the way, so we just need one bushy bookworm to complete the team! In this world, Hermione's options are limited because of her birth, and I'm sure that gets her incensed to no end. (As well it should.) She's in the Order with her friends, and probably gives them all a much-needed proverbial kick in the ass at times.
Draco Malfoy: We have a Theo who needs his frenemy and someone to plot machinations with. Really, machinations are no fun without someone to share them with. And Theo isn't much of a minion type. Plus, Draco's daddy is now the proprietor of the only bank in the country (Gringotts closed) and that gives him even more to lord over everyone around him. What game is complete without a glorious jackass in the cast?
Dennis Creevy: Yup, that's right, Dennis. He's like Moody 2.0 in this version. His brother was killed at the end of the '97-'98 Hogwarts year, and now Dennis is the youngest Order member and out for blood. Or just messed up in the head from that whole brother-dying bit. Either way, he went back to school for his 7th year and stole the quill from the High Inquisitor before saying "FU" to the rest of his schooling and running off to the Order. He's also got a head-start on the very Moody-esque missing-body-parts bit. So, yeah, we'd really love to see him come in.
Weaslys in general: Ron needs his family. They've got a lot to yell at him for, if they want. He did up and join the aurors, after all.
Cedric Diggory, Nymphadora Tonks/Lupin, Remus Lupin, Fred Weasley: Because, admit it, you wanted to play these characters as surviving, didn't you? Yeah, we know what you want.
And, of course, everyone else is welcome as well. |

changedrpg via changedmod is looking for a few specific characters. We have a nice requested characters post here, but here are a few of the highlights:
Heathcote Barbary, Merton Graves: The last Weird Sisters we need to complete our set of awesome rock stars! You have a concert in two days, so hurry up!
Maisie Cattermole: Bad things might happen to your mum this year. Besides, your older brother and sister want you around!
Ted Tonks: Your entire family and extended family are in play! We need you.
Walden Macnair: Your children are the newest generation of DEs, so obviously you need to be there to keep an eye on them.
There are also a large variety of adults and students (4th year - 7th year) available!
changedrpg is a new Trio-Era AU, but with a great cast already. They opened last month, and they've been filling up fast, but there are still quite a few characters left, the game is very active, and you'd be welcome. |

Hello. I've recently fallen back into this fandom after a very long hiatus (hello fandom, you were missed) and I've had this urge to try my hand at playing a younger Snape. Ideally I'd like to find a smaller friendly community, possibly something AU but it doesn't absolutely have to be and I'm willing to look at various points in time. I could also do a PSL if the right one rolls around. |

ridingshotgun is a Marauders group PSL that asks the question: What's the worst that could happen when you put a wizard behind the wheel of a car and ask him to drive from John O'Groats to Land's End? So far we have three of the Marauders (just missing a James Potter) and plenty of spots open! We are overrun with Gryffindors and would appreciate some Slytherins. No hardcore purists (they're busy planning to overthrow the wizarding world) but your general snobs and bigots are most welcome! |
